XERO

Axiom Xero is a cyborg, a ruthless bounty hunter whose gang lives on Mars, a land of outlaws.
Her story begins when she wakes up in a messy laboratory, in front of a six-eyed engineer who informs her she is nothing but the replacement of Axiom I; the fragmented memories she inherited belong to her previous model, a bounty hunter who was wiped out during a mission; Axiom I was supposed to collect the bounty on a kid, a droid with military secrets hidden inside his digital brain.

Xero is now tasked with both finding out why the mission failed and to retrieve the kid before other bounty hunters collect the juicy prize.

While doing good-old detective work, however, she keeps having blurry and confused flashbacks of the incident. The six-eyed engineer warned her that these flashbacks would be normal for a while: after all, a new consciousness was forced into her. Nonetheless, they often hinder her job.

Xero keeps looking until she finds a solid lead that brings her to the outskirts of the city. The "Red Planet" is a desolated land, completely terraformed but barely habitable. There, she finally finds the kid hiding into an abandoned house. However, a terrible migraine bursts through her circuits, as she sees flashes of something she has never witnessed before: green hills.
