SARAI

Sarai is a quirky physicist who helps her dad repair old Titan mechs repurposed for agriculture. Logical by nature, she spends her days listening to country music and inventing bots, something she prefers over having to deal with irrational beings known as "people."

All goes well until a sudden was is waged on Callisto, and she gets drafted on the distant planet with the task to repair colossal Titan mechs.

Upon her arrival, she is greeted by Rocky, her unit's captain. He is her polar opposite: impulsive and reckless beyond saving.

One day, his Titan mech still under maintenance, he ventures into the night to rescue a comrade. Sarai warns him: "Your chances of survival are less than 5%." To which he replies: "That's 5% more than 0."
The next day, Rocky returns with his comrade; they are both injured, but alive. Everyone's applause bursts into the giant hangar as Rocky is greeted and revered like a hero. Only Sarai doesn't share the enthusiasm.

Several weeks later, a surprise attack requires Sarai to be relocated to the frontlines. When she finally reaches destination, however, both the vanguard and the enemy outpost have been wiped out. Instead of soldiers, she suddenly faces a horde of... zombies?
